Light stains and chips along the edge with corner chips and chipping. Really pretty good for an almanac printed on cheap paper. The front cover has a nice engraving by Clarkson and there are wonderful headpieces and tailpieces. This issue also has the story of a midnight ride with a panther and has a nice overturning buggy engraving. An old threaded tie at the upper spine lets one hang it up. There are many curious and interesting stories in additon at each month. There is a wealth of folk history in this series of almanacs. One of the more charismatic and interesting of all U.S. productions of this type.
