Appleton-Century Company 1943 (1943) 1st American Edition Blue Cloth w/eagle Good Plus or a Little Better No Jacket Signed by Author A decent hardback copy with the eagle on the front and the E.S. for Eagle Squadron. This copy has a nice bold ink signature by the author on bavk of the frontis photo of Bob Sprague. Signed exactly without any other words: "James Saxon Childers." Since it has both the NY and London imprint on the title page it could be argued that it is a first edition contemporary with the Heinemann London edition. Price: 65.00 USD
