Looks like the classic appearance and edition of this title that was sold door-to-door. Fades to the covers. The weeping liberty label is still in pretty good shape even though pasted on. The titles are faded. The sign up sheets bound in the back were never used. No leather sampless or other cloth color samples were issued with this prospectus. (This is not the full book - it is a sample of what the book will look like when it is published. Salesmen would try to sell door-to-door and some retail businesses would sometimes additionally have customers subscribe. Subsrcibers lists could help the publisher determine how many copies to print.) The complete book became very popular and is still sought by many who see it for the first time and then want a copy. This is not the full book.
