Collated containing all the plates called for by the index. Many are hand-colored as originally issued. Excellent historic plates including the fold-out "Plague" plate; famous personages and castles ... etc. A period fine decorated leather binding in only fair shape with a neat small crack in the middle of the book - still all is tight. Of importance is the bookplate of the previous owner Joseph Marryat with the family shield and the seal of Malvern House pasted above the bookplate on the marbled endpaper at front. Overall in about good shape - but decent and showing about usual for wear for this antique book with beautiful plates.
